Over
the course of his career, Alec Baldwin has made a name for himself in the field
of comedy. After winning our hearts over as Jack Donaghy in 30 Rock and making us guffaw at his
recent Donald Trump impression on Saturday
Night Live, Alec Baldwin is bringing in the laughs once again as a cute
little newborn in DreamWorks' new animated picture, The Boss Baby.
Of
course, any character voiced by this man has to be extraordinary and this baby
is no exception. For one thing, he wears a suit and looks way too adorable for
anyone to hate him. So naturally, he becomes the subject of envy for 7-year-old
sibling Tim.
We
all know that story; some of us have even lived it: having your parents' attention
taken away by your newborn baby brother or sister is no walk in the park. The
movie, as told through the eyes of Tim, will expound on this relatable plot that
will most likely take a turn for the strange. I mean come on, there must be a
reason why Alec Baldwin's voice comes out of that cute baby's mouth, right?
Apparently, Tim discovers a secret plot that threatens to destroy the balance of love in the world and it's got something to do with this dapper baby posing as his brother. In order to thwart this evil plan, they must band together as true brothers so that their parents can be saved and order can be restored to the world.
Aside from Alec Baldwin, the film also stars Lisa Kudrow, Jimmy Kimmel and Steve Buscemi.
Based on Marla Frazee's 2010 award-winning picture book of the same title "The Boss Baby," the movie is directed by Tom McGrath and will open  in Philippine cinemas on April 15, 2017.
