All your ninja theories were wrong! The newest game from From Software, makers of Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, and Bloodborne, and the evil mastermind behind them all, Hidetaka Miyazaki, is Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
It's the lovechild of Tenchu and Dark Souls. You play as a Samurai/Ronin/ninja with a prosthetic arm, stolen from Venom Snake, that acts as a grappling hook that you can use to scale buildings or drag yourself mid-air toward enemies.
The game, it seems, kicks off with average human enemies but as the trailer progresses, some really creepy stuff is happening. And we wouldn't be any less surprised about it. This is a From Software game after all, and Hidetaka Miyazaki, being a huge fan of Cthulhu and all.
