AMD Ryzen Ryzen 7

If you're one of those people who cannot stand books without pictures, then you're in luck. We've got a chart!

This detailed portrait showcases AMD's Ryzen 7 CPU as compared to an Intel i7 processor.

Aside from 1080p gaming and Premium Gaming on 4K televisions and VR, the Ryzen 7 pretty much beats out normal i7's when it comes to content creation, video encoding, game steaming, and encryption.

But pictures cannot always be trusted. Nowadays, images on the Internet can portray anything from a bird with muscly arms to Mahatma Gandhi shaking hands with Hitler.

So what information prompted such a colorful graph?

According to very thorough experiments done with science, normal i7 cores achieved 67% of the video encoding performance of the Ryzen 7 in Handbrake and 82% in Adobe Premiere CC. They also dropped an 18% total frames during game streaming, as compared to the 1% drop with the Ryzen 7. Lastly, i7-7700k cores were able to deliver 65% of the Ryzen 7's output in POVRay, 69% in Blender, and 63% in Cinebench, totaling a 66% average when compared to AMD's new CPU.

All these numbers and percentages mean that if you're going to be using a computer for content creation or streaming, then you may want to look into a Ryzen 7 so that you can excrete those creative juices more easily.
