TagCom is back for the 12th time this year with even bigger surprises and activities for its guests. So if you're a comics enthusiast, gamer, toy collector, cosplayer, or k-pop fan, mark your calendar for the event, which is happening on April 21 and 22. The entrance fee is only P100.
What can fans expect from this year's TagCom? Aside from the all booths that sell geek merchandise, you mean? Well, there's the Artist Alley, where you can meet your favorite local artists, commission artworks from them, and buy their works.
There's the cosplay contest, which will be judged by renowned cosplayers Ikang Dupet, Daph Cortes, and Sekishinkou. The winners (Best Male, Best Female, Best Chibi) will receive cash and other prizes.
Of course, there are also the K-pop competitions hosted by KPop Static Productions. There's a singing contest, dance cover contest, and a K-Pop themed cosplay contest.
If you're quite talented with your hands, you can join either the diecast mod contest or the custom action figure contest. Winners of both contests will receive an airbrush from Hobbiworkz. The winner of the custom action figure contest will get additional prizes.
Aside from all these activities, attendees will get to enjoy incredible performances from a group of Mandalorian Mercs known as the Kalis Clan, girl group Ivy Musume, and V's Project. Wanlu and his puppets will also make a guest appearance at the event.
With that many activities, TagCom is definitely going to be a blast. So if you want to make the last days of April count, be prepared to head to SM Megamall's Hall 3. For more information on the contests, visit the official Hobby at Worx Facebook Page.
