FFXIV Final Fantasy Final Fantasy XIV Square Enix

After the launch of the Stormblood expansion pack, Final Fantasy XIV Online will be giving its fans a special treat in time for its 4th year anniversary. A 14-hour livestream will be held from September 1 to 2 to celebrate the occasion and reveal more details about the MMO's new content.

Part of this discussion is the Patch 4.1 content, where viewers will get a first look of the 24-alliance raid, "Return to Ivalice." Yasumi Matsuno, game designer of Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy Tactics, will write the scenario for the raid, bringing the world of Ivalice to FFXIV.

In-game celebrations have already begun this past weekend. "The Rising" is a seasonal event that includes fun activities and event items for players to earn. It will end on September 14. There's also the "Mega Mog Station Sale" which features discounts of up to 30% on items such as phials of Fantasia, outfits, emotes, and mounts. Players can take advantage of this sale until September 26.

Final Fantasy XIV Online can be purchased from the Square Enix Online Store. New players can try out the free trial, which allows you to play until level 35.
