Today's Sundae treat is comic-flavored! Meet Emmanuel Ramos, a 27-year old freelance designer and illustrator. He was 8 years old when he made his first fan art of Mojacko.

You could say Emmanuel's art style is an amalgam of all the stuff he used to rip off when he was young. He draws a lot of anime fan art; and whenever he designs characters, they usually end up with an anime aesthetic. However, it's the western Cartoon Network abstract style that challenges his imagination, so he always weaves in a few abstract somethings into the characters he creats.

His all-time favorite art hero is Kim Jung Gi, who he says has an infinite repository of visual imagery stored in his brain.

If there's anything that's keeping Emmanuel invigorated these days, it's Youtube. In his words, the platform is a "chaotic soup of psychotic energy in video form." We would have to agree. It's unsure if he makes fan art based on what he watches on Youtube, but that's something we all look forward to seeing.

In the meantime, check out his fan art pieces of Deadpool, Daredevil, Spider-Man, Power Rangers, Metal Gear Solid and more.

If you like what you see, show the artist some love over at his official website, Deviantart, Facebook and Artstation.
