Happy Easter! As a Sundae treat, we're showcasing the works of Camille Chua A.K.A. "Frillion". She's a 26-year art director whose creative roots come from different places.
Her foray into fan art began when she was inspired to draw dinosaurs from the encyclopedias she'd read. When she was around 7 to 8 years old, the bulk of her fan art came from her obsession with Pokemon. At one point, she would combine her fandoms of Pokemon, Harry Potter, and dragons in her art before she started making completely original works.
Frillion loves to experiment with different mediums, from gouache paint, to inks, to digital illustrations. Because of that, her art style varies. From what we've seen, she changes her style depending on the concept, subjects, and mediums. She takes inspirations from Hannah Christenson, JAW Cooper and Jeffrey Alan Love, to name a few.
Her current fandoms are Dishonored 2, Dragon Age Inquisition, and Phoenix Wright, but for today's Sundae, we'll show you her sci-fi twist on Game of Thrones and some of her Harry Potter works. If you want to see more, you can check out Frillion's website, Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr.
