fan art Fan Art Sundaes Jay Mark Manlapaz

Welcome to our last Sundae feature for July 2017! Today we'll be showing the artworks of Jay Mark Manlapaz, a 24-year-old who works as a technical staff at an event company.

Jay Mark's medium is pretty interesting because he loves to sketch on tissue paper. Because he didn't have any materials at the time, he used to doodle on tissue paper whenever he and his friends had drawing sessions at Starbucks. This soon became a habit of his and Jay Mark has created cool stuff on napkins since then.

As a 90s kid, Jay Mark grew up making fan art of Dragon Ball Z and Voltes V. He then found a love for comics, which now serves as the inspiration for his art style.

You can find more of his stuff on Instagram and DeviantArt but for now, here's a sneak peek at some of his fan art below.

Fan Art Sundaes is a weekend section where we feature a spoonful of an artist's work based on some of your favorite geeky franchises! If you want your fan art to be featured, just email us at [email protected]!
