Welcome back to Fan Art Sundaes: the place you go to since every other site is out for the weekend.

This time around, have a gander at the art of "Nopaks". She is currently a freelance digital artist whose main works consist of character concepts and illustrations for video game apps, book covers, portraits, and yes, fan art.

Unlike other artists we've covered in the past, Nopaks started making fan art much more recently. After starting a couple of artworks in 2011 by using a mouse, she took her craft more seriously when she received a pen tablet from one of her friends last 2015.

She considers her art style as a mix between Japanese anime and Western animation. This gives off the feel that her characters look realistic, without losing the anime vibe. Her works draw inspiration from artists such as Sakimichan, Artgerm, Ross Tran, WLOP, and Serafleur.

Her current fandom revolves around the video game/anime series Hakouki; as she has been painting them ever since.

To see more of her projects, you can find her on Facebook, Twitter, Deviantart, and Instagram.

Fan Art Sundaes is a weekend section where we feature a spoonful of an artist's work based on some of your favorite geeky franchises! If you want your fan art to be featured, just email us at [email protected]!
