introduce the humor-infused works of 22-year-old multimedia specialist, Reuel
Reuel's love for graphic design seems inherited, since his father does it for a living. After being taught to do art by his dad, Reuel would spend a lot of his grade school time making his own artworks through MS Paint. As he grew older, he would teach himself to use other design programs like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere. He further expanded his knowledge by learning how to do motion graphics, which he then used to animate his artworks.
Like many other artists, Reuel switches styles from time time; jumping from 8-bit art, to sketches, to digital paint, to long shadow artworks.
He also likes to add humor to his works. Since he needed a platform to showcase them, he formed his own webcomic called Kapenudels. Here, Reuel uses simple shapes with detailed strokes and sticks to consistent shades of color per strip. He got his color inspiration from Wes Anderson's films while his detailed strokes came from Mondo art posters.
