Forget what you know about the Final Fantasy
franchise. What was once a series about turn-based combat and colorful
characters has since become a breeding ground for brooding anime teenagers and
product placements; as evidenced by its most recent installment, Final Fantasy XV.
The game, which features copious amounts of leatherwear and Nissin Cup Noodles, is now coming to PC. Horribly retitled as Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition, it will feature improved graphics, all the DLC which you had to pay extra money for on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and most dizzyingly of all, a first person camera mode that shows how imperfect your face is when compared to the protagonists' spotless mugs.
It will be out sometime in
early 2018 via Steam
and will feature achievements and full controller support. Sadly, a free
voucher for Nissin Cup Noodles will not be included.
