Globe League of Legends MET PPGL

Season 2 of the Globe Philippine Pro Gaming League is coming underway, and MET has announced the inclusion of League of Legends in the tournament. Previously, Globe PPGL featured only DOTA 2, Tekken 7, and Arena of Valor.

The search for best local League of Legends teams will be determined via two Online Qualifiers that will take place on June 22 to 24, and July 6 to 8. Mineski and TNC, the respective champion and first runner-up of the Garena Pro Gaming Series, are automatically seeded in the National Qualifiers. Barcy ESports and ArkAngel will also be at the main events, having topped the Promotionals. All teams will be vying for a P300,000 prize pool at the finals.

The champion of the Globe PPGL 2018 Season 2 League of Legends tournament will move on to battle other teams across Southeast Asia in the Globe Conquerors Manila 2018, which is set to take place at the Mall of Asia Arena. This will serve as the SEA qualifier for the 2018 League of Legends World Championship.
