A few months ago, Huawei introduced its own streaming service app called VidPlus, which features Hollywood films, funny videos, music videos, documentaries and an array of Chinese entertainment. Unlike the other streaming apps that charge monthly, this app allows users to subscribe on a daily basis. In other words, you can gain access to VidPlus' library for 24 hours.
Following Huawei's recently inked partnership with eSports tournament World Cyber Arena, VidPlus now has a dedicated eSports channel. Here, users can play back streams of all World Cyber Arena matches.
To give a preview of this gaming collaboration, Huawei recently hosted The Face Off, a WCA 2017 Manila invitational event that pitted Team Execration against Happy Feet. After intense battles and a few interesting decisions from both sides (Happy Feet players switched up their positions for one), Execration rose victorious with a 2-1. Those who weren't able to watch the match live can view the stream on VidPlus.
The event also saw the debut of the Huawei Nova2i, which is the brand's latest mid-range smartphone. The phone's specs include a 5.9-inch display, 4 freakin' cameras, a Kirin 659 octa-core processor, and 4GB RAM, making it a tough contender in its category.
