Jabra, a brand best known for its wireless and corded headsets, locally unveiled its newest wireless headset, the Evolve 75. It is designed for professional use; specifically for those who work in open offices.

If you don't want to hear the awful EDM music the guy in the next cubicle is blasting or colleagues chatting about last night's sports game, then you would be happy to know that the Evolve 75 has an Active Noise Cancellation feature. You can switch this on to effectively remove unwanted sounds in your area.

To help you concentrate even better, the headset also has a "do not disturb" busylight, which is a red light found on both ear cups. When taking a call, you can tap on this button to let others know that you are preoccupied. But even if this isn't the case and you just want people to stop tapping your shoulder for last-minute requests, you can switch this on to subtly let others know that you don't want to talk to them.

Speaking of calls, the Jabra Evolve 75 can be used with your PC/laptops, smartphones, and tablets. It is compatible with Open Office and Outdoor requirements for Skype for Business and is also certified for Cisco and other leading Unified Communications (UC) platforms.

The headset comes equipped with HiFi stereo sound and HD voice for crystal-clear calls. To speak, you use the built-in swivel mic that can be hidden when not in use by clipping it to the side of the headband.

The Evolve 75 has dual Bluetooth connectivity that lets you pair the headset with two devices, like your PC and smartphone. With a wireless range of 100 feet for laptops and 33 feet for smartphones, it enables the flexibility and freedom to move. That means you can keep on wearing this when you're taking a leak.

If you want to know the headset's key features in bullet form, here they are:

  • HD voice for crystal clear calls and music
  • Superior Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with four (4) Mic's
  • Integrated busylight to boost productivity by reducing noise and interruptions
  • Up to 15 hours of talk time
  • Flexibility to connect two Bluetooth devices at the same time for calls and music - for example, both a computer and a smartphone
  • Up to 100 ft. / 30 meters range from your connected device
  • Audio through USB connection
  • Charging stand (optional)
  • Integration with leading UC platforms and Certified for Skype for Business, Cisco, Avaya and more
  • HD voice for calls. World-class speakers for music
  • Leather-feel ear cushions and an on-the-ear wearing style for all-day comfort
  • Discreet boom-arm that can be clipped into the headband when not on calls
  • Comes with an optional charging stand for easy charging and docking

At the media launch held last Monday, the executives shared that the Jabra Evolve 75 will be sold on a business-to-business basis. It's currently priced at 275 USD, so that's around P1,300. No further details were announced.
