Alcohol Check breathalyzer GS-09 Kingmax

In a typical drinking session, you can always spot the dudes who own cars - they're the ones who drink less so that they can drive home safely. But everyone knows that's a hard situation to be in. Refusing more drinks is always a challenge, especially if everyone wants to have a good time and not be a party pooper.

The question then is how many drinks you can take while still keeping a level head. Although you may be familiar with your own body, sometimes it betrays you when liquor is involved.

You don't need me to tell you not to drink and drive, but if you want to try and balance having a good time and getting home safe, one way to check if you're good to go is with a breathalyzer.

Usually a big-ass device, a breathalyzer checks how much blood alcohol content you have from a breath sample. The cops usually carry these things to catch people who are driving under the influence. If the results aren't cool, you goin' to jail!

Recently, Kingmax launched a more portable version of this device. Dubbed the Alcohol Check, this little gadget is a breathalyzer the size of a memory stick.

It has a smart alcohol concentration detector that features a MEMS gas sensor and powerful firmware. To use it, you simply connect it to your phone and utilize the Alcohol Check app. Give the tiny device one quick blow and the app will display your alcohol percentage. This helps you determine whether you should drive or not. If you choose "no", the app prompts you to call a taxi or driver service that will take you home safely instead.

The Alcohol Check can be used on Android 6.0, 5.0 and 4.0 devices. There's no charging required, plus it fits nicely into your wallet. If you're not sure if you've had one too many drinks, this will come in handy.

This smart breathalyzer will be rolled out in various countries. Expect it to be available locally soon.
