NetherRealm Studios recently revealed at The Game Awards 2015 their Kombat Pack 2 trailer, which features the latest additions to the Mortal Kombat X roster.
First to show up is Leatherface, of the classic horror film series Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I can already imagine the horrors he'll do. He'll probably butcher Johnny Cage repeatedly into tiny pieces or slowly but gleefully saw Scorpion's body in half. And we'll all just sit there and watch the next-gen gore graphics in horrified silence...
Bo Rai Cho, Mortal Kombat's resident drunken master, who appeared only as an opponent in Mortal Kombat X's Story Mode, will soon be a playable character as well. We are also introduced to Tri-Borg, a hybrid of the three Mortal Kombat cyborg fighters, Smoke, Sektor and Cyrax.
Last but not the least, is Xenomorph, from the popular sci-fi movie franchise, "Alien", who in the trailer, bursts out from Baraka's chest. Personally, I can't wait to pit him (or her) against another DLC character previously launched, Predator.
Other previously released DLC characters include Jason Voorhees, Tanya and Tremor, who debuted in Mortal Kombat: Special Forces.Mortal Kombat is a fighting video game series popular for its gruesome fatalities and unnaturally high (but oddly satisfying) splatter count. The Kombat Pack 2 DLC will arrive in the first quarter of 2016. Until then, the bloodbath continues.
