For those of you that like to live in solace, away from that annoying species called humans (myself included), Legends of Callasia is a multiplayer strategy game that we have been following since the dawn of 2016.
The title features board game-like
characteristics with a focus on competitive play, and though you might think that
this game is just like every other turn-based release out there, the fact that its
first expansion pack was successfully crowdfunded via Kickstarter is a big
enough kick to the head for you to pay attention.
In a recently announced patch, Boomzap Entertainment has incorporated a couple of fixes that aims to balance out the gameplay as well as includes an entirely new map called Lake Aquil. But the biggest add-on here allows you to play the game on your Android phone.
The game was previously playable on Android
and iOS tablets as well
as on PC via Steam, but
this new patch lets users to take their game to places they could not do
previously (like the bathroom, for instance).
Legends of Callasia is a one-time buy, meaning that if you purchase the game on any of the aforementioned platforms, you get it on the remaining ones as well. The full game stands at a $14.99 US dollar price tag, with The Stoneborne DLC costing an extra $7.99 US dollars.
But if you're too cheap to get the game yourself (or simply don't have the time to invest in a tabletop-style title while you're on the way home), a demo that includes all the default heroes, starter campaigns, as well as unlimited free multiplayer is also available for free (note that I used the word "free" twice).
