Microsoft's biggest announcement was the acquisition of five independent studios. With these new names under their helm, we expect more interesting Xbox exclusives, and something to give Sony a run for their money. Beyond that, here's the other games announced during Microsoft's E3 presentation.

Halo Infinite

Everything with "Infinite" or "Infinity" is a recent hit these days. You got BioShock Infinite and Avengers: Infinity War. You can excuse Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, that game's just awful. In any case, Halo Infinite is the new title that features Master Chief. The trailer shows a big expanse, Cortana, and well, nothing much more. The tease was fun though.

Just Cause 4

I've never been much of a fan of Just Cause. I've never felt much substance in them, except do some crazy Chuck Norris stunts. It's just stupid, silly fun. And what are videogames for, anyway, right? The heart of Just Cause 4 keeps up with all random explosions and even crazier stunts to pull.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2

Okay. This was just bad presentation. It was a bit cringe-y to watch how these players played. As if that's how it works in real life. There was a lot of wrong in the first The Division, Ubisoft could had beaten PUBG to the punch in battle royale, and sadly, that's not how it turned out. Hopefully though, The Division 2 addresses all the issues from the previous game, such as sponges for enemies.

Battletoads

If you don't know Battletoads. You haven't gamed at all.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Ori and the Blind Forest was an emotional punch. The visuals are so pretty and the music is so eerie it's so beautiful. The sequel, Ori and the Will of the Wisps shows us more tricky platforming, more skills, and an even brighter world to explore.

Special mentions

There's a new Metro Exodus game, which looks great. Gears of War 5, which should hype everyone up - though I've never played it, so I can't comment on it. Dyling Light 2 is up there for faster-pace action. And there's the Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, which is a spinoff of Life is Strange or a complete setup for Life is Strange 2.
