Arena of Valor Garena Tencent Games

The mobile MOBA game that topped the app charts in Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia is finally coming to the Philippines. Arena of Valor, developed by Garena and Tencent Games, is now open for pre-registration at Garena's website.

Arena of Valor (AOV) is a 5v5 online multiplayer game set on a 3-lane map, which is quite similar to DOTA 2 and League of Legends but played on mobile phones. The game has merited its own eSports tournaments, such as the recently held Throne of Glory (TOG) tournament in Vietnam.

There are over 40 unique playable heroes (including Batman, for some reason) as well as 5 different game modes. Upon AOV's local release, players will be able to acquire up to 14 heroes for free. Completing the tutorial grants you 2 heroes, while the Road to Glory quest unlocks another 8 heroes. The remaining 4 can be obtained by playing with friends.

For more updates, you can follow the official Garena Arena of Valor Facebook page.

UPDATE - 10/17/17 8:02 PM

Arena of Valor is now available for download on the App Store and Google Play Store
