The latest trailer for Suicide Squad is as wacky as it gets, as it reveals new footage of DC's biggest supervillains in action: Deadshot unloading bullets from his famous wrist guns, Killer Croc causing hell in the sewers, Captain Boomerang taking a sip from a soda can in the middle of a gunfight and Harley Quinn conversing with the voices in her head. To add to the insanity of it all, the trailer is set to the tune of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody". Watch all the craziness unfold below.
Judging from the clips, it seems like the Squad would be
dealing with a mystical threat. It probably has something to do with Cara
Delevingne's Enchantress. Interesting to note as well is that no clip is shown
of The Joker being among other squad members, which leads us to think he may
not actually be a part of the Suicide Squad. Come to think of it, even with all
this new footage, we're still not entirely sure how he factors into the story. But
we do get a glimpse of this scene:
The origin of Harley Quinn's bleached skin and unstable mental state, which is the result of The Joker throwing her into a vat of acid. Does this also mean we will get to see hints of The Joker's origin as well? Highly unlikely, and we'll only found out in eight months' time.Â
Aside from the trailer, two new movie posters were unveiled,
displaying the maniacal villains in all their glory.
Suicide Squad is set for a worldwide release on August 5, 2016.Â
