Final Fantasy IX Nintendo Switch VII VIII X XV Pocket Edition

The first "Final Fantasy" game was released on 1987 in the Nintendo Entertainment System. Other FF games continued to be released through Nintendo's systems until the big strife in graphical changes.

Then Squaresoft (now Square Enix) ditched Nintendo in favor for the Sony PlayStation, where "Final Fantasy VII" made its big debut. Since then, FF games kept rolling out in PlayStation. Few FF games were released in Nintendo consoles, but today at the Nintendo Direct, saw the ports of "multiple" FF games, if not all.

For the kids, this is an exciting time for you to get to know all these great "Final Fantasy" games. For the adults, you can finally prove to your kids the older "Final Fantasy" games were so much better back then.

The only exception to this massive port is "Final Fantasy XV" which is quite understandable. Instead, we're getting XV's "Pocket Edition" which is basically the same exact game, only in lighter graphics.

Also, it seems Nintendo passed on porting "Final Fantasy VIII." Most probably Nintendo is assuming the romance element may be too "icky" for kids.

Refer below for the list of "Final Fantasy" games coming to the Nintendo Switch.
