Player.me, a social media platform for gamers, has launched a new "Create" feature to make content creation more accessible to newcomers.

Sean Fee, CCO and Co-Founder of Player.me stated in a blog post, "Having worked on content creation tools for a long time, we know that it's hard to get started. It's hard to make your streams look awesome and build an audience, so we want to solve all these hard things and our first step in that direction is Player Create."

Create is designed to make your livestreams look great. There are hundreds of web-based overlays to choose from. There is also an editor to customize the look and add widgets to spice things up. Fee called it the "Photoshop for overlays; without the need for graphic design skills." It's compatible for both OBS and XSplit platforms.

Create has a dashboard where you can monitor your livestream events, stats, and donations. It's also included in the Player.me mobile app for both iOS and Android devices.

John Howe-Marshall, Chief Marketing Officer of SplitmediaLabs, said "Our experience in the content creation market has shown that there are three main areas we can help both new and experienced content creators to be successful. We can give them tools that make it easier to create, we can give them tools that make that content more engaging for their audience, and we can help them to grow their audience in a meaningful way."

He continued "Player Create is our first step towards our goal of satisfying those 3 core needs for the creators whether they use XSplit or OBS. So now with the create section, we've made it much easier for all the creators out there to create more engaging content for their audience."

The Player Create is compatible with all major streaming platforms like Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Mixer. The platform's launch also sees to specially build overlays for some of the most popular games, including League of Legends, CS: GO, DOTA 2, Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, and Overwatch.
