Square Enix and Disney just revealed some new scenes from the upcoming HD compilation, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue at the 2016 Tokyo Game Show.

So what do we have? We get a glimpse of the shady alliance formed by the foretellers, the five Keyblade masters first seen in the Kingdom Hearts origins movie, Kingdom Hearts X.

There's also gameplay footage of the PlayStation 4 version of Dream Drop Distance, a game that was initially developed exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. We'll also see scenes of Aqua in action in a new episode that ties directly to the story of Kingdom Hearts 3. Utada Hikaru also makes a comeback, lending her voice in a remixed version of "Simple and Clean".

Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is another HD compilation of some more Kingdom Hearts games. It includes a remastered version of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, the HD movie, Kingdom Hearts X [chi] Back Cover, which tells the story of the mysterious foretellers, and the most exciting addition, Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage -, which links the ever-convoluted lore of the series to the much-awaited Kingdom Hearts 3.

This new episode is told by Aqua, a keyblade wielder like Sora, and takes places after Kingdom Hearts Birth of Sleep.
