"The world is turning upside down," the Super Bowl ad of Netflix's Stranger Things teases. And though it's only a 30-second clip, it's enough to get fans hyped.
Season 2 will take place a year after the events of Season 1 and will follow the Hawkins residents as they struggle to live normal lives after what transpired last season. But it looks like a larger Demogorgon (who resembles that creature in Cloverfield) is set to bring terror to the town of Hawkins, Indiana.
Remember when Will Byers coughed up a small slug in the last episode of the first season? It's possible that the slug could be that same monster, though fully-grown. Not much else has been revealed but that hasn't stopped fans (ourselves included) from speculating on where the new episodes will take us.
We're hoping Season 2 will have the answers to the many questions Season 1 left in its wake. What ever happened to Eleven? Where did Dr. Brenner and his team go? Will there finally be justice for Barb?
Season 2 of Stranger Things will stream on Netflix this coming Halloween.
