The first trailer of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald has just released and you can hear the collective cries of every Potterhead as Warner Brothers continue to build on the fantasy world that we simply refuse to put to rest (not that we're complaining).
Newt Scamander, the gentle, loveable magizoologist makes his way to Paris for a brand new, off-the-records adventure. Joining him on this new chapter is Jude Law as the young Albus Dumbledore, and Johnny Depp, who reprises his five minute appearance in the last movie as Gellert Grindelwald. Joining the dark side is Poppy Corby-Tuech as Grindelwald's loyalist, Vinda Rosier.
Since the first movie established a wizarding world outside of Hogwart, the second film would probably start building on the internal conflicts, such as the fanaticism of Grindelwald's and the different forces that try to bring back the balance like Dumbledore and Scamander. Will this build up to everyone's fantasy duel between Dumbledore vs Grindelwald? We'll just have to wait and see.
Fantastic Beast: The Crimes of Grindelwald releases this November 16.
