The hype for the DCEU's Justice League movie continues as its latest trailer dropped at the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con.

If you still think that the film will retain the dreary tone that Batman V Superman had, this trailer says otherwise. We've got the Flash providing new-hero humor, Wonder Woman dodging bullets with ease, and Cyborg taking control of the Batmobile.

We're also given an early look at main baddie Steppenwolf as he shows up via boom tube (which is essentially a travel portal) at Wonder Woman's homeland of Themyscira. Steppenwolf is in search of Mother Boxes, which are sentient devices that have various useful effects like creating force fields, sensing oncoming danger, and opening up boom tubes. So yes, they're kind of like Infinity Stones, but in box form.

The clips also show a world that still mourns the death of Superman. Popular speculations say that he will be revived in the upcoming movie, with the new trailer fueling them on as Alfred speaks to a mysterious hero in a red cape. If this isn't Superman, who could it be?

Justice League premieres in the Philippines on November 16.
