Razer has leveled up its gaming headsets with the
all-new Kraken Pro V2 and Kraken 7.1 V2. These new improvements were added to
provide the best esports-focused experience to date. Let's get into the
details.
RAZER
KRAKEN PRO V2 GAMING HEADSET
Razer has improved the audio performance in the Kraken Pro V2 with larger custom-tuned 50 mm drivers that provide a good balance between in-game audio and voice chat.
It's also got an advanced 7.1 virtual sound engine that
allows complete customization
to pinpoint positional audio specific to an individual gamer.
RAZER
KRAKEN 7.1 V2 GAMING HEADSET
The new Kraken 7.1 V2 has a unibody aluminum frame that is supposed to be more durable and flexible than other headset materials.
The headband meanwhile is designed for better comfort with its balanced weight distribution and reduced clamping force.
The ear cushions are larger and softer and also feature inmold channels so that gamers who wear glasses won't feel strained after long hours of play. The headset also comes with circular designs but oval designs are also available as a separate purchase.
In addition to all that, the headset also has a built-in noise-cancelling digital microphone that can be activated through Razer Synapse. This lets players communicate with teammates in a crisp, clear manner, even in LAN events. Sadly though, this feature is only available for PC.
