EA Sims The Sims The Sims 4

You read that right: the latest iteration of a franchise that has you simulating life and speaking gibberish is getting a console edition. EA has announced that The Sims 4 will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this November 17.

This means that console players will soon have the chance to create their own Sims, pick terrible hairstyles, choose poor life aspirations, and make babies with random strangers. The console edition will come equipped with the base game as well as all the content updates post-launch. Even after it launches on consoles, fans can expect periodic updates and extra content.

Those who pre-order The Sims 4 console edition will receive the Perfect Patio pack, which includes hot tubs and bonus outdoor décor. You also have the option of receiving the game three days earlier (November 14) if you order the game's Deluxe Party Edition. This includes the aforementioned Perfect Patio pack and special content like a Flaming Tiki bar, wacky costumes, and silly hats.

The release is only a few months away, so you better take some family planning notes and make a list of all the fancy furniture you'd like to spend your Simoleons on.
